Thirty Day Review

We had our meeting on Friday to discuss how Marc was doing in 3rd grade. I was very impressed with how much support Bakerfield has given Marc so far. They had completed several tests, including the OLSAT, which Marc missed last year.

All of the tests indicated that he is doing great and he is appropriately placed. He is also getting pull out services twice a week to work on his writing skills and also to review the science units he missed last year. He is starting to make friends and seems very happy.

All of the teachers who worked with him commented on how pleasant Marc was, and how comfortable he is around both adults and other students. I am very proud of him and feel better about the decision we made to accelerate him.

His only weakness seems to be spelling. He gets that from his father...

I am so looking forward to seeing you! Everything I have to do- I can do whenever.

Love your blog name- Marc is an amazing kid. I'm glad he's doing well with the acceleration. I am looking forward to seeing what crazy cool things he'll do with his life and that smart brain he has.
